Thomas J. Johnson, MAI, SRA, was the Founding Partner of JSA Valuation Services, with nearly four decades of experience in the appraisal industry. Specializing in Feasibility Studies, Market Studies, Fee Simple and Leased Fee Valuations, and Reproduction/Replacement Cost Estimates, Tom has built an impressive portfolio of services across a wide variety of property types. His expertise spans marine properties, industrial sites, retail centers, office buildings, Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), mixed-use developments, multi-family properties, religious institutions, schools, daycare centers, and other special-use and unique properties.

Since beginning his appraisal career in 1985, Tom has completed assignments for a wide range of purposes, including lending, sale price negotiations, portfolio valuation, right-of-way valuations, tax appeals, estate planning, litigation, and feasibility analysis. His ability to provide comprehensive and reliable appraisals has made him a trusted resource in Florida’s real estate market.

Tom’s extensive experience includes his role as Chief Appraiser at Seacoast Bank, where he reviewed hundreds of appraisals and oversaw the policy and appraisal procedures for the bank’s department. This leadership position, combined with his direct interaction with appraisers statewide, provided Tom with valuable insight into diverse market trends across Florida. His broad exposure to various market conditions has equipped him with the skills to handle a wide range of appraisal assignments with accuracy and professionalism.
