About

Max Helfman joined the Northeast Investment Sales team in 2018. He is responsible for the underwriting and marketing of a variety of investment properties across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, specializing in the retail sector. Max embraces a client-centric approach that extends beyond traditional real estate services, building long-standing relationships with investors. In nearly 8 years with the team, Max has been involved in over 70 deals totaling 15MSF and nearly $3 billion in transaction volume.

A member of the Retail Advisory Group (Northeast Region), Max is a strategic leader who delivers value for owners, investors, and institutional partners across the Northeast. In 2024, Max emerged as a rising star within the investment sales team, aiding in the sale of New Jersey’s largest non-mall single asset retail transaction since 2018. He was also part of NAIOP New Jersey’s Deal of the Year and CoStar’s Largest Office Sale in New Jersey for the sale of Harborside in Jersey City.
