Matthew Mirkin joined Cushman & Wakefield in June 2017 as an intern for the Los Angeles Valuation & Advisory group. Initially, he was responsible for providing research and analytical support for real estate market intelligence for a variety of specialties, including self-storage, hospitality, retail, land, and multifamily assets. Mr. Mirkin was hired to a full-time appraisal production role as an Associate in September 2017 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2025.

Mr. Mirkin is a member of V&A’s Land Advisory Group, the Multifamily Practice Group, and the Dispute Analysis Litigation Support (DALS) Practice Group. He has provided valuation services for a diverse range of clients, such as lenders, developers, attorneys, occupiers, and government agencies. Mr. Mirkin has experience appraising a wide range of properties throughout Southern and Central California, with a focus on mixed-use and multifamily assets, as well as land development sites. Through his practice and years of experience appraising complex land development projects, Mr. Mirkin has a thorough understanding of current legislation governing zoning, land use, and development
guidelines.
