The Legacy
01
Architecture and sustainability
BROEKLIN Brussels is a mixed-use development that combines retail, leisure, and workspaces across 12.5 hectares, offering 153,250 sq m of leasable space. Its flexible design allows tenants to adapt spaces to their operational needs. The project incorporates sustainability as a central principle, using circular construction methods, energy-efficient design, and transparent product sourcing. An urban farm is included to provide local food production directly to restaurants on-site, linking consumption with community. The development aims to demonstrate how urban growth can align with ecological responsibility.
02
Location and mobility
Located in the north of Brussels, within the area connecting Ghent, Antwerp, and Leuven, BROEKLIN is positioned for regional accessibility. It is situated approximately 15 minutes from the city center and 10 minutes from Brussels International Airport, and benefits from strong visibility with more than one million vehicles passing by each week. The site is accessible by multiple modes of transport, including car, train, bus, bicycle, and on foot. The infrastructure include 3,500 underground car parking spaces and 3,000 bicycle spaces.
